What is TWIN SHAFT MIXER and how it works?

A Twin Shaft Mixer is defined as a horizontal double U shape mixer machine which consists of two horizontal agitator shafts in each trough equipped with Helical shape Ribbon or Paddles which pushes and moves the material in opposite directions inside U trough, facilitating a very efficient mixing and blending of feed ingredients. The twin shaft design of mixer helps to creates the fluidizing movement of feed material within the Double U shape trough ensuring that all the feed powder particles comes into interaction with each other more frequently for thorough and consistent mixing blending process.

  • Loading: Feeding or loading of material can be done via charging port/feed hopper provided on top lid of Twin Shaft Mixer. The chamber of Twin Shaft Mixer is typically designed to prevent material leakage during the blending process.

  • Mixing Action: After completion of Loading of material, Twin Shaft Mixer starts rotating and as the both the shafts rotate in opposite directions, and the helical ribbons along each shaft also rotate.
